Plan Your Visit

st john’s killyleagh parish

Would you like to come and see what it’s all about?

Visiting a church for the first time can be both exciting and a little uncertain. At Killyleagh Parish, you’ll find a warm welcome, friendly faces, and a community eager to support your spiritual journey. Services blend traditional worship with heartfelt fellowship.

What to expect

Our Sunday services include traditional liturgy, hymns, prayer, and inspiring sermons. We encourage participation and fellowship after the service.

The church has four large screens which display the liturgy and hymns so everyone can easily follow the service structure during our 11am service. Our 9am service is shorter in length and follows the prayer book.

Every service is a time for worship, reflection, and receiving communion. We follow the Book of Common Prayer and welcome all to participate.

We have tea, coffee and refreshments after our 9am Holy Communion Service and before our 11am service and enjoy taking that time to chat with each other.

Children, Youth & Families

We love welcoming families! Our Kids Church and Youth Club offer engaging activities during and after services. Parents can relax knowing their children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. We aim to have a children’s service once a month.

Coming alone?

Our congregation is made up of people from all walks of life—many of whom have come alone and found friendship, support, and spiritual connection. Don’t worry about not knowing people, someone will always be there to welcome you.

If you’d like you can contact us beforehand. Remember, coming alone is the first step towards belonging, and we’re delighted you’re considering joining us.
